Steel buildings are no doubt cheaper to build and maintain than traditional structures. They come with benefits beyond the economical ones, though. Steel is a much greener material to use than wood or vinyl. No trees have to be cut down to make the materials and steel can be reused again and again. The design of steel buildings lets you use almost all the space. Again, unlike a traditional structure, a steel one can be built in a matter of days. Everyone loves a building that can be built so quickly.
Steel buildings offer many advantages, especially in the current rocky financial times. They are cheaper to build than traditional structures, can be put up easily in a few days, come with no upkeep and give you an efficient use of space. Look into steel buildings, if the task of building a traditional structure seems too overwhelming.

Constructors got the idea of making Quonset huts after they were successfully used in World War II, these new structures were cheap and easy to build as compared to a masonry and concrete building. It started off from the idea of airplane hangars built by the Military and Air force. These structures were easy to be assembled and moved to a new location if the need so arised. A small team of soldiers was sufficient to assemble, disassemble and reassemble Quonset huts measuring 15 meter long and 6 meters wide. Quonset huts were used by allies to protect their assets and soldiers from sunlight, rain and snow.

Quonset huts are now another name given to steel buildings. Steel buildings use non traditional building materials like steel sheets, columns and blocks made out of re enforced steel. In traditional buildings, the primary materials used were concrete, bricks and wood.
